Thank you very much for your valuable suggestion regarding additional medical safety aids for the workplace. Your input is greatly appreciated, and we’re glad to share an update following the Safety Committee's review.

In response to your recommendation for an AED, we have reached out to the Wauwatosa Fire Department and are awaiting their guidance. While an AED installation does not require an official inspection, we’ve engaged them to ensure local EMS is informed of its location for quick access in case of an emergency. The department will also assist us in installation and testing to ensure optimal functionality.

Regarding CPR masks, recent guidance from the American Heart Association indicates that chest-compression-only CPR (for untrained bystanders) is often most effective in emergencies, reducing the need for rescue breathing equipment. At this time, we have decided not to invest in CPR masks but will continue to assess any evolving recommendations in this area.

In response to your mention of first aid resources, we currently have two first aid kits in the main office—one in the warehouse and another in the kitchen area. Our facilities team will be reviewing and replenishing these kits to ensure they are fully stocked and up-to-date.

Finally, we have purchased two new eye wash kits, which will be installed in the warehouse near the coordinator desk, anticipated to be ready by the end of next week.
